VS FBL REMIXES is a vinyl-only album containing remixes based on FIBLA tracks, not from the acclaimed "Lent" album (released on 2003) but from different tracks previously released on compilations. An excellent cast of guests, in-house friends and collaborators, presenting their best efforts on an 8-track album: from the hip-hopism of Spain's Rec_Overflow and Eedl to the massive 80s flavour of Sweden's Ola Bergman (excellent records on Skam and New Speak); from the sinewave manipulation of .tape. (the wonderboy spaniard who has appeared on tons of different labels around the world from Japan to the USA, with a new album due on spa.RK later this year) to the master-and-commander L'Usine (no need to mention his extensive discography on labels such Hymen, Inc_Us, and Ghostly International); from Expanding & Static Caravan Stendec to our American friend Phluidbox and finally Barcelona-born (now based in Toulouse around Angstrom records crew) Braille.
A collection of tracks that will appeal to electronica lovers and vinyl music collectors, proving that seemingly different approaches are sometimes closer than one could expect, while paradoxically highlighting the diversification of current electronic styles. A colour chart of amazing tones.
