Oscar Abril Ascaso curates "Centre d'Art produeix música pop" in CASM, a project about the nowadays transformation of pop music and the role public institutions play in this fact. For this project he was accepting submissions of demos and selected 14 bands that will be rehersing and playing in this art contemporary center. Also as a part of the exhibition there is an activities program that include four nights curated by ScannerFM, the indie internet radio station from Barcelona, with their new project ScannerBCN, devoted to the sounds of the city. On April 11h an electronica night where FIBLA will be playing alongside two new growing names, Jahbitat and Debilorithmicos.

EEDL long awaited return has already been released! We have received bunches of emails asking about the album and some people already got their copy at Sonar 2007. So the time of waiting is over and "Everse", that is the title of the album, is ready to be discovered. Joan and Miguel have been working hard in their sounds, always paying a lot of attention to details and production and giving to their tracks a personal touch, Eedl trademark, that fine balance between different languages, broken rhythms and massive melodies. Thanks to all of you who came to FIBLA and EEDL xmas party! The excuse was the presentation of their new albums "Liants" and "Everse" and Convent de Sant Agustí was a perfect place to do it. Special thanks to Nano and Antti who were at charge of the visuals, to Sergio for nice stage and the work of all day, to Loles who helped us to have a nice bar, to Sílvia at Convent de Sant Agustí for all the help, to Glòria for the camera and to all the friends who were there.

While we finish the compilation of the remixes of .TAPE. album "Paintings" with a really incredible line-up of artists (stay tunned for more info), .tape. has been busy looking for all the tracks he has been delivering since 2002 in diferent labels around the world from Japan to Mexico, including Spain, France and Germany. Now he releases a compilation with all this tracks - some of them vinyl exclusive - in US label Other Electricities with the title "Tomavistas. Selected rarities (2002-2007)". Check the sound postcard they have made to launch the record.

Versus Electronics, electronica focused radio program commanded by spa.RK, goes back to Scanner FM, best indie radio of Barcelona and the first to broadcast through Internet (and to win a national prize for that!). All wednesday midnight, an hour show with best contemporary electronic music. You can catch the program on 100.5 of dial (if you happen to be in Barcelona), or in Internet (all last programs in fonoteca section).

New and third FIBLA's album is being released on october 8th. Seven years after his debut for Sub Rosa/Quatermass label with “Landscopes”, and four years since the 2003 release of his second album “Lent” on spa.RK, Fibla’s intrincate melodies and distintive rhytmic patterns were highly missed. Stealing minutes from his leisure time, unhurried, Fibla made this “Liants”. On his live set at Sonar 2007 he was already playing tracks from this new album, but now it's time to discover all the treasures it hides.
